SIMPLE MOTORCYCLE LUGGAGE MOUNTING TIE-DOWNS WITHOUT MORE HARDWARE

The BoaBands™ Quick-Release G-Hook Straps are part of Turkana’s BoaBands™ motorcycle luggage strap system. They’re designed for a very simple job: give your TrekBags™ a secure attachment point wherever you have a suitable frame, rack or mounting point on the motorcycle.
No dedicated mounting plate. No drilling. No collection of bolts, brackets and mystery spacers.
Each BoaBand consists of 52 cm of 25 mm webbing, an adjustable quick-release G-Hook buckle, a sewn mounting loop and a hook-and-loop webbing keeper.
Wrap it. Loop it. Hook your bag on. Tension it down.

HOW THE BoaBands™ G-HOOK STRAPS WORK

At one end of each BoaBand is a sewn webbing loop. Wrap the strap around a suitable pannier frame, luggage rack, frame tube or other strong mounting point. Pass the G-Hook buckle and strap through the sewn loop and pull it into position.
Fit all four BoaBands to create the attachment points for your TrekBag.
The TrekBag™ then hooks directly onto the quick-release G-Hook buckles. Adjust and tighten the straps until the bag is held securely against the motorcycle.

Need the bag off? Release the G-Hooks and remove the bag.
No need to dismantle the mounting straps every time you take your luggage off the bike.

QUICK-RELEASE, ADJUSTABLE G-HOOK BUCKLES

The G-Hook buckles combine the attachment point and strap adjustment into one simple piece of hardware. They allow you to hook the TrekBag on, tension it securely and release it quickly when you want to remove the bag.
Each set contains two left-hand and two right-hand BoaBands, so the G-Hooks can be positioned correctly around the bag.

52 CM ADJUSTABLE WEBBING

Each BoaBand uses 52 cm x 25 mm webbing, giving you plenty of adjustment for different mounting positions and motorcycle luggage setups.
Once you’ve tensioned the bag, any excess webbing can be rolled up and secured using the integrated hook-and-loop webbing keeper. Because nobody needs half a metre of strap flapping around behind them at 120 km/h.

MOVE THEM FROM BIKE TO BIKE.

BoaBands aren’t permanently attached to your motorcycle. If you change your luggage setup, change bikes or simply want to mount a TrekBag™ somewhere else, remove the BoaBands and refit them to another suitable mounting point. That also makes them useful for riders with more than one motorcycle who want to use the same TrekBags across different bikes.

Use a smaller TrekBag for tools, puncture repair gear or everyday essentials, or larger TrekBags for motorcycle travel and camping gear.
