Step-by-step guide to attaching MOLLE pouches to PALS webbing:

  • Align the PALS Webbing: Line up the straps on your MOLLE accessory with the PALS webbing on your platform (duffel bags, saddlebags, etc.).
  • Weave the Straps: Begin by weaving the attachment straps together in and out of the PALS webbing, ensuring a tight and secure fit. Alternating the straps while weaving them through the PALS webbing makes it a lot easier than trying to one strap at a time. This creates a strong bond between the accessory and the platform.
  • Secure the Attachment: Once fully woven, use snaps studs. Make sure everything is tight to prevent movement during use.

Caring for your Madmules™ rackless system:

  • Cleaning: Ride in the rain or hand wash with mild soap or detergent without surfactants. Surfactants deteriorate the PU coating.
  • Drying: Hang to dry or take a ride.
  • Storage: Dry and store in a dry area. Or rather, just keep travelling!
  • Heat: Keep away from direct heat or open flames. Legs need to be 7cm-10cm away from the exhaust and/or exhaust gases.
  • Travelling: Avoid securing the bags to any surface that can cause damage to the bag due to vibration or chafing.
  • Weight Limit: Do NOT OVERLOAD the bags; overloading can result in tearing of the materials. Do not load more than 10kg in each bag ‘the equivalent of about a small barrel of beer.
  • WARNING: Never use the system without securing it properly. Failure to do so may result in tearing and damage to the bags or to the motorcycle. It is strongly advisable to use the supplied tie-down straps, cleats and/or tail strap to secure the base to the motorcycle or frames to avoid being slapped by your saddlebags while going over bumps.
